Home / Corpus / Non-Russian Authors
Section Info

This index lists the names of the authors of all non-Russian works comprised in the Corpus subsystem. This includes authors of works in Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese), authors of poetic or prosaic non-Russian intermediary translations, as well as authors of works which are sources of Romance originals (if the latter are, in their turn, imitations or translations).

The names of non-Russian authors in the index are given in several forms: in addition to the original spelling in Latin script, we give the Russian Cyrillic spelling found in the literature (either transliteration, or transcription, or traditional spelling). Greek names are given in the Greek, Latin and Cyrillic form. Names in languages that use neither of these three scripts are given in Latin script and Russian Cyrillic spelling but not in their original spelling.

Click on the author’s name to get the list of his/her works. It will appear in the dialog box that opens above the main content area. A hyperlink from a short title of a work leads to its full text as represented in the Corpus. Click the “ALSO AVAILABLE IN THE LIBRARY” button to jump to the facsimile image of the publication of this title in the Library subsystem.
