Section Info

Prosody (or metrics) describe the properties of verse lines and are constituted by two parameters: “Meter” and “Line Length”. This section is a mockup of a future metrical index. For now, it only includes a list of abstract meters (iamb, trochee, etc.), neglecting line length. This subsection allows the user to find poems written in a given meter (the list of poems reflects the current state of the information system).

Texts written using specific metrical forms (iambic tetrameters, trochaic pentameters, etc.) can be found using Advanced Search. A full metrical index is planned, as a separate task, for the next stage of the project.
